Nasreddin Hodja is a Realist Hodja’s Daughters
Nasreddin Hodja had two daughters. One’s husband of them was farmer, the other’s was tiler. Hodja went his daughters and asked them their circumstances. His daughter being farmer’s wife: If this summer passes rainy, we can crop cut and come again. And we can sell our crops and become rich. The other daughters being tiler’s wife: If this summer does not pass rainy, our roof tiles get dry and we can sell them and become rich. Hodja began thinking and went his home. His wife asked how are their daughter? Hodja answered: One of our daughters will be in hot water, but who is, I do not know.
