The Works of Mevlana, Fihi Mafih

"Fîhi Mafih" means "what is there is here (in this book)". This work constitutes Mawlana's conversations made in various sessions, collected either by his son Sultan Walad, or one of his disciples. This work has sixty-one chapters, and deals with a different variety of subjects such as Mawlana's mystic thoughts, his views concerning poetry, this world (dunya) and the hereafter (akhirah), the prophet (nabi) and the saint (walî), the spiritual master (murshid) and the disciple (murid), paradise and hell, man, religion, belief, love, will, samâ (a whirling dance of darwishes), and worship. It has been translated into Turkish by Meliha Anbarcıoglu.
